[ Free library ]/Step 05/Don't copy a prompt, build a world

Don't copy a prompt. Build a world.

How we build a brand world for NUMI baby balm: one palette, one light, a few places and props, written once and used in every prompt, so the whole set reads as one brand.

NUMI concept: the plain packshot every image here was made from
like this
01

One clean photo

Phone is fine: daylight from a window, a plain wall or sheet behind, the label facing the camera and sharp. No flash.

02

An image AI that takes a photo

Gemini or ChatGPT both work. Upload your photo first, then paste the prompt.

03

Paste, generate, check

One prompt per image. Before you use one, check the label against your real product, letter by letter.

NUMI concept: the jar in a generic stock-style photo with a purple backdrop and plastic flowersA copied prompt
NUMI concept brand, gentle baby balm: The nursery shelfThe NUMI world
THE DIFFERENCE

Same jar. One of them is a brand.

A copied prompt gives you the template everyone else has. A world, written once and reused in every prompt, gives you a set people remember.

The world sheet: write it once
Palette: oat, cream and soft sage. Nothing else.
Light: soft morning window light, from the left.
Places: the nursery, the bath, outdoors.
Props: muslin, light wood, cotton, knit.

End every prompt with: "...the same oat, cream and sage palette, soft morning light."
NUMI concept brand, gentle baby balm: The nursery shelf
01

The nursery

Where it lives

The product on a pale wooden nursery shelf beside folded oat muslin cloths, a small wooden rattle and a sprig of dried oat grass, soft morning window light from the left, a calm oat, cream and soft sage palette.
NUMI concept brand, gentle baby balm: In hand
02

In hand

Real hands, not a perfect model

Two adult hands in a loose oat-coloured long-sleeve knit hold the open product towards the camera, showing the texture inside, soft morning window light, the same oat, cream and sage palette. Natural hands with five fingers each.
NUMI concept brand, gentle baby balm: Bath time
03

Bath time

The moment it's used

The product on a wooden bath tray across a white tub, beside a folded sage-green towel and a natural sea sponge, a little soft steam, soft morning light, the same oat, cream and sage palette.
NUMI concept brand, gentle baby balm: Flat lay
04

Flat lay

Every prop matches

Top-down flat lay on cream linen: the product with its lid off beside it, a folded oat muslin cloth, a wooden teether ring and a few cotton flowers, soft even daylight, the same oat, cream and sage palette.
NUMI concept brand, gentle baby balm: Outdoors
05

Outdoors

Another room, the same world

The product on an oat linen picnic blanket on soft green grass under dappled morning sun through leaves, a woven basket and a folded sage blanket beside it, the same oat, cream and sage palette.

Don’t chase perfect. Real textures, a little mess and natural hands read as a real life. Show the moment around the product, not just the product. (No baby in any frame: adult hands only.)

! Where DIY stops

This gets you most of the way.

The last part is where most sets fall apart. It’s the part we do, from $199.

  • Where it breaksWhat we do
  • The label drifts. A letter changes, the logo moves, the colour shifts. We check every image against your real product, word for word.
  • Hands and faces go wrong. An extra finger, or a face that changes from shot to shot.We count, crop and redo before you see anything.
  • The set doesn’t match. Light, colour and the model wander from image to image. One art direction across the whole set, so it reads as one campaign.
  • Video drifts. Clips morph after a few seconds. We plan the shots, keep the clean seconds and cut it on the beat.
